rocket ship?

 this is my creative writing task. we had to read or listen to a poem then we had to summarize in our own words in a sentence about what you think it is. then we had to think of words that go with the story then go onto word art insert our words and customize it however we would like here is my word art hope you like it!

 This is my creative writing. I did it because it was one of the tasks to do for the week. I enjoyed writing about the aliens and how they are not that different from us humans.

kite exploring?

this is my kite slideshow work, I learned that you need to be patient to wait for the wind I enjoyed flying my kite even though there wasn't enough wind it was still really fun running around with it. I am still wondering if they will fly with the wind. 

Manu tukutuku reading work...

 wondering about. this is my Manu tukutuku reading work I enjoyed making the poster best I am still wondering if there needed to be a lot of wind to lift the kite with a person on it up this was a really fun activity I hope we can do something like this activity next week!

Eggshell reading

this is the eggshell reading I learned lots of new Maori words and what they mean or what they are like manu kopua it is a Maori name for a kite. This reading work relates to my kite work which I will be posting on my blog soon. I enjoyed getting to know what it would be like to be new and how the girl gained her confidence to speak in front of some of the people in her new class.

Catapult plane?

 This is my catapult plane activity. This was a fun and challenging activity to do I liked firing the plane around the house. I learned that if you pull your rubber band to the max your plane will go flying!. I'm still wondering about what would happen if I pulled the rubber band the other way would it go further? would it swing back at me?

environmentally friendly garden artwork

This is my week one weekly artwork slide show. I learned that you don't have to have paint or a paintbrush to create art our task was to create a piece of artwork with things that you can find in your garden on slide 5 there is a photo of my garden artwork. I enjoyed making my koru out of paua shells and pebbles from around our pool.

ANZAC DAY PRESENTATION

this is my ANZAC day slide show I learned a bunch of new words and things like the poppy story, what the order of the rising sun award is ect I am still wondering why girls or ladies cant fight in the war we are no different to boys or men I did it because ANZAC day is coming up and it was my homework I enjoyed how the story were so interesting and that I learned a bunch of new things and words.
